Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine has a unique style which combines R&B with soul, gospel music, and R&B. She's performed on Broadway, at the Democratic National Convention and in clubs and festivals throughout Europe. Sunshine's given title is Denise White. Even though she lives in Atlanta at present, Sunshine comes originally from Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she began her career as a musician by playing and singing at the church in town. She studied at Spellman College and began to master the R&B styles of Atlanta. It has been remixed and a component of her repertoire. She also contributed to The Fighting Temptations soundtrack. She was the main keyboardist at Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her vocals and her music, invited Sunshine to sing in the Dreamgirls show during Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine gained national recognition through her performances on four consecutive days in 2008 at the Democratic National Convention. She was later invited to sing in the Obama administration's 2009 inauguration.

Aaliyah Dana Haughton exploded into fame in 1994, after she dropped her debut album Age Ain't Nothing But a number. She was only 15 at when the album was released and it was later renamed Gold.
