Charissa Thompson born April 4, 1982 in Seattle Washington United States is one of America's best known and wealthy sportscasters. ESPN analyst who was hired to co-host SportsNation during the year 2012. She co-hosted ABC program Splash along with Joey Lawrence. Thompson was born in Seattle Washington. She was the youngest child of three, and realized at the age of three she wanted to be a journalist. Thompson attended Inglemoor High School near Kenmore Inglemoor, Washington. Thompson moved to California to attend community college and gain California residency. Thompson was approached through Sports Illustrated via email before she started her career as a sportscaster. They offered her the chance to paint her body with body paint to address a Swimsuit issue. She is the lead singer of New York based Pop Rock group Against the Current, who recorded their debut EP Infinity in the year 2014. The group was first noted for their cover versions of popular musicians on YouTube. Their fame was made famous by the collaboration they made in conjunction with Against the Current and She. They were in the Good Time cover by Owl City as well as Carly Rae jepsen and She. The collaboration was instrumental in helping the band gain fame.
